The story behind the ball
AirDance Events grew out of a shared passion for dance and the ambition to build an international stage for dancers from every corner of the world. The founders, Joanna Wargala and Vladimir Sharapov, accomplished dancers and ballroom enthusiasts, saw the need for an event that showcases exceptional performances while celebrating the cultural and artistic side of dance.
Their idea became the AirDance Christmas Ball: a competition and a community at the same time, a place where dancers exchange ideas, inspire each other and grow together.
The organising team shares one conviction: dance crosses cultural borders and creates extraordinary experiences. That belief shapes every edition.
